The Sexual Assault Prevention Program offers services focused on the primary prevention of sexual assault in Athens, Hocking and Vinton Counties.

Funded through grant from VAWA/Ohio Department of Health-Rape Prevention Section and operated through Tri-County Mental Health and Counseling Services, the Sexual Assault Prevention Program is comprised of a program coordinator and volunteers.

The Sexual Assault Prevention Program works closely with other organizations and programs such as My Sister's Place, the Health Promotion Department of Ohio University, and the Women's Centers at both Ohio University and Hocking College.

In addition to the educational workshops the program provides to elementary, middle school, high school and college students, the program provides trainings to professionals and community members. We also run a peer education program in Logan High School.
